February 8th in
California, all batteries are
considered hazardous waste and must be disposed of
properly. This is a good idea everywhere,
especially out on the islands we all love,
batteries contain heavy metals and toxic chemicals
that don't belong in an island dump or
incinerator. There are lots of drop-off locations
for your
used batteries.
