Please join us on Wednesday, October 19th at 7:30 pm, at the Natural History Museum (exact location TBD - watch this space!), for a presentation by Michael Zeigler:

Getting To Yes: The Process Behind Getting the Keeper

"In the world of digital media, we have a wonderful tool in the form of instant feedback - the LCD screen. In this presentation I will share how I use and abuse this feedback from my initial vision of the image to the final product (the "keeper" ... yes!). I'll walk through some of my favorite and most recent images and share my creative process from start to finish."  - Michael Zeigler

Ever since taking his first underwater photo in 2009, Michael Zeigler has been obsessed with underwater photography. Since then, he has had the opportunity and privilege to work with some of the best editors from around the world, has become a member of the Ocean Artists Society, and has co-founded the company Immersed Imaging with his good friend, Todd Winner. Although Michael has had the opportunity to dive many amazing places around the world, he prefers capturing the beauty of the diverse marine life that inhabits the rich kelp forests of Southern California.

***If you are entering a video that you are bringing in on a thumb drive, you must declare your intended entry by Monday midnight, so we will know whether we are able to have both open and novice competitions or a single combined category.
